Finally another blog. My year so far. I’ve made a concentrated effort to post onto my rosiemiles facebook every few days. And consistency does pay off. I’m growing my list of followers. It’s slow, but it’s moving in the right direction. My website Since November last year, I’ve been struggling with my website. It literally disappeared overnight. The end result, after five long months, www.rosiemiles.com.au is now available to view on the internet, that’s a positive. And for the best news so far, both the contact me, and the please sign up for my newsletter links are working, woohoo. Big thanks to both Aditya @scaled designs and Patty at Fresh & Preppy Digital Design. As soon as I figure how to put the invite out for my newsletter, I’ll send an invite via my Facebook page. Until then, if you’d like to contact me, I’d love to hear from you, the link is below. [email protected] What’s going on with Rosie? Her Aussie Protector was released on the 17th July and is now available for your reading pleasure. My book launch is on Saturday 2nd August from 12.30pm at Browns Plains Hotel (nibbles provided and drinks available to buy from the bar). Copies of her Aussie Protector will be available for purchase. Please come along and help me celebrate the launch of my latest book (let me know by email if you'll be attending for catering purposes). I’ve had readers email me telling me that they enjoyed my book. I’m thrilled to say the least. One lovely woman from Scotland said she read it in a day. She called it, a couldn’t put it down book, and to top it off, she recommended it to her friends and family. I’m stoked. To all of you who have read my book, thank you. What’s the saying? A writer has two worst fears, 1 What if nobody buys my book? 2 What if somebody does, then reads it?
Thanks to all of you who have bought, and thoroughly enjoyed, Her Aussie Protector. If you can find the time, and are happy to do so, please feel free to leave a review on Amazon. I will be forever grateful. IDEAS. I always have ideas for a new book. The trouble is, sometimes, no, all the time, I think about it rather than actually write it. Atm, I’m working on a new book. Its, a Romantic Suspense, of course. A Witness Protection Story. I crafted a short story years ago; it was difficult finding out if my ideas were workable. At that point in time, I was working at Police HQ in the city. Heaps of phone calls, to different departments, no one would help. After numerous attempts, I spoke with a high-ranking officer who was willing to answer yes or no questions. From that, my short story was created, from that short story, a book has blossomed. I love the characters I’ve developed. My hero’s name is Eden. A few of my friends who have read it suggested it’s a feminine name and suggested I change it. I was gutted, but thought, it’s only a name, right? Wrong. The minute I changed his name, the story ideas stalled. End result, I’m back with Eden. He’s happy with that. I’m happy with that. Till next time, remember, Life is to be lived, Go live yours. Rosie.

Great illustrations can really bring a story to life. Any recommendations for book illustration services for authors on a budget?
